General Description

The YTEC GPS-1050 tiny mountable GPS receiver module is a single side ultra small Global Position System r eceiver based on the newest SiRFstarIII architecture . Innovative packaging technologies enable the high integration of GPS receiver in a small module measuring just 17 mm x 19 mm , which is just half area of previously available GPS-1020 (1 inch by 1 inch). It perfectly merits high performance with compact design. It allows the straightforward integration in particularly small end products and the opportunities in new application fields.

The GPS-1050 shows the mini size, high performance and low power consumption . The built-in LNA supports both external active antenna, and embedded applications using passive/patch antenna. The SMT pads enable automatic assembly. In turn, it allows cost-effective mass production.
